My name is Kyra.
Born and raised around Chicago, I moved out to the PNW in December 2018.
It's been a wild ride but I'm here to stay and happy to call Tacoma home. A life-long dog owner and former foster house, I grew up with a 110lb American Bulldog and went on to own the Cane Corso mastiffs that I keep today, and have handled everything from them to the littlest chihuahua. I began work in the pet industry in 2012 as a handler in doggy daycares, moving on to bathing and managing grooming departments until COVID, and am happy to return to my home industry. I specialized in handling nervous and aggressive dogs, encouraging them to grow comfortable with nail trims and the bathing process. I look forward to creating a space for the dogs of Tacoma to keep comfortable and tidy, and bringing in a team of bathers to support this environment for the well being of both the dogs and their owners!

My name is Abbie Andrews
I have been in the grooming industry for 4 years and have worked handling dogs for over 10 years. My goal is to apply my knowledge of dog body language and behavior to help understand your dog's needs and ensure it has the most positive experience possible, while delivering top tier results. My pets are my world, I have a 10 year old chi-weenie, Jellybean, and two cats, Anathema & Dartboard; I love them more than life itself.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling to see my international friends (I have been to Europe twice now!), seeing my favorite artists live, and watching k-dramas with my pets all cuddled up around me. I have slowly fallen in love with Tacoma since one of my close friends lives here and has taken me to various events in the community, so I am excited to be here!

My name is Shaelyn Rieger
I graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and soon after moved to the Tacoma area to be closer to family. I grew up on a farm in a rural area, which is where my love for animals began.
While at WSU, I spent 3 out of the 4 years that I was in Pullman working as a dog bather at a small grooming shop. There, I learned all aspects of dog bathing and developed strong handling skills, including working safely and calmly with high-stress or anxious dogs (big or small!). With more than 4 years of hands-on experience overall, I’ve discovered a true passion for the pet care industry and am excited to keep growing and learning in this field.
Outside of work, I love audiobooks, hiking, and attending shows!

I was born and raised up in Seattle, but Tacoma has been my home now for almost two years. As a lifelong earth and animal advocate, I eagerly began work in the professional pet care industry at 16 years old. I’m a proud pet parent of two chihuahuas- Tobias and Mamacita <3
