Where you can wash and dry your pooch without the mess at home!

 

What’s Included:

• SHAMPOO: You have 2 basic options, Hypoallergenic or Oatmeal shampoo.

  • Conditioner or specialty shampoos are available for $5/each

• TUB: We have 3 available tubs. Two are large to accommodate dogs of all sizes, and one small tub for our little friends.

• TABLE: If you have not operated a grooming table in the past, please ask for assistance.

• TOWELS: You are welcome to use up to 3 towels per wash, please towel dry before using a power dryer.

• DRYERS: Our K-9 power dryers are available to use, please ask for assistance if you have not used them before

  • Use with caution if your pooch is afraid of loud sounds!

• BRUSHES: Several types of brushes are available for use during and after baths.

• EAR CLEANER: If you would like to clean your pups ears while they’re in the tub, you are also permitted TWO cotton balls, one for each ear, with ear cleaner on them. Please ask for assistance.

 

THIS IS A SHARED SPACE:

Be respectful to the other retail and self wash clients in the room.

Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Please refrain from petting dogs unknown to you unless permission is granted!

Self Wash is first-come, first-serve. If your preferred tub is currently in use, please be patient until it is available.

 

SHOP RULES:

1. Self Wash visits are limited to 45 Minutes. Any visits lasting over an hour are subject to additional charges.

2. Please limit the number of persons to TWO per visit. 

3. Any children accompanying the bath MUST be under direct supervision at all times.

4. If your pup is not good with others, or if they are afraid of loud, busy places, please call and plan your visit ahead of time so we can best accommodate your dog’s needs.

5. THERE IS NO USE OF SCISSORS, CLIPPERS, OR PERSONAL DREMELS PERMITTED BY SELF WASH CLIENTS

   1. We understand you may have experience using these tools, but for the safety of everyone in the room please refrain from any activities beyond your pooch’s bath itself. Services can be requested and attended to by a professional bather.

6. Self Wash tubs close ONE HOUR prior to the closing time of the Grit City Canine. That means you must arrive with time to COMPLETE your bath before the self wash tubs close for the day.
